Canyon Lake Roadrunner's Informational Guide
1. Who are we? We are a group of Canyon Lake Residents with Recreational Vehicles who llike to go on Campouts with other RV'ers.
2. Membership:
A. Canyon Lake Property owner.
B. Own or have access to a Recreational Vehicle.
C. Volunteer to work on a Dinner Committee or Campout Committee at least once per year.
D. Annual Dues are $10 per couple or $5 per person.
3. Board Members::
A. President (Trail Boss) - The President's job is to supevise the overall activirty of the club. The President selects the other officiers that serve on the board at his/her direction.
B. Treasurer - The Treasurer handles all the financial transactions for the Club. A Financial report is created annually for tax purposes and for the maintenence of the clubs Non Profit (501c3) status.
C. Membership - The Membership officer recieves all applications for membership, collects annual dues, and maintains a current Roster of club members.
D. Current Officers:

4. Other Positions serve at the pleasure of the President. Theses are some examples: Web Master, Sunshine, and Photographer.
5. Meetings: Meetings take place on the second Tuesday of the month with social time starting at 5pm. Meeting locations and price for dinner is determined by the Dinner Committee for that month. A monthly meeting begins at 5:30pm, Dinner is served at 6pm. Payment for the dinner is collected before 5:30pm the night of the meeting, payment by check is perfered. If you reserve a place at the dinner meeting and do not attend you are still responsible to pay for the dinner you reserved. Reservations can be canceled up to a week before the Dinner.
6. Campouts: All Campout locations require reservations and payment to be made months prior to the outing. The club pays for reservations Sign-ups for a Campout usually begin 90 days prior to the event with payment to "Canyon Lake Roadrunners" collected by check at the time of signing up. Cancellation and refund of your payment can be done at anytime. The amount of refund will be based on the campground policy. Guests will be permitted to attend a campout if there is available space one week after the Roadrunner members have been allowed to sign up for the event. In the case of too many members wanting to attend a campout during the sign-up period a drawing will be held for all the spots.
7. Committees:
A. Dinner Committee - Responible for determining the location of the monthly meeting for which they are responible. In addition the committee plans the menu and decorations for the dinner. Collection of payments for the dinner, and running the 50/50 drawing are also handled by the Dinner Committee members.
B. Campout Committee - Plans the dates, location, activities and meals of the campout. Collects payments by the members and assembles the materials needed for a successful campout.
