FUTURE CAMPOUTS
GO-GO
September 15 - 30 , 2025
The Go-Go trip is scheduled for two weeks. Starting at 10 am Monday September 15 at the Avi Casino RV park and ending on September 30 when we check into the Oasis RV park in Las Vegas. The theme will be Native Americans of the Southwest and National Parks, we will visit Bring your camera, almost daily you will be treated to many unforgetable sights.
Travel days will be limited to around 200 miles or less. There will be a designated driver on each travel day who will be assigned to sweep the route in case anyone has a problem. We will have three nights at each stop, you can decide at each location how active you want to be. An itinorary will be available for each travel day and multiple activies for the locations we will visit. You will have a time window on travel days, that will rotate, when you can leave, we do not want to have too many rigs traveling together. The trip is a large circle without any roads bisecting it, therefore, plan on traveling the entire trip. You will make your own reservations at the sites we have arranged. A welcome dinner will be provided at the Avi on September 14th. We will leave the Avi site on September 15 starting at 10 am with a staggered start. The first day is mostly Freeway driving to Flagstaff and it will be one of our longest travel days.
Steve and Ellen will be the Wagon Masters. They will have the Route planned and the stops confirmed for your stays. Meals will be on your own most days, social hour may vary at some locations dependent upon the activies of the day.
Some locations will require you to walk to the sites. You can decide which sites you will see via hiking.
Emerald Desert
January 16 to 20, 2025
Escape to the warm desert this next winter. Prepare yourself for the wackiest putting contest you have ever been in, courtesy of Robb, then enjoy the poolside Hors D'oeuvres and drinks with live music. Shopping, relaxing and some of the best golf courses in the nation are here for your enjoyment. Join us.
We will have a blast at the range again this year, bring your favorite irons or borrow one from a fellow Roadfunner. There will be some iconic iron to try out courtesy of Robb and Steve. The first trip of the year would not be complete if there wasn't suprise or two, so you 'Funners' come ready to have a fun time in the sun.
Catalina Spa
March 17 to 21
Bring your Bathing suits and Sun screen to soak in the warm Spa waters. We travel to Catalina Spa again this year. The Desert may be in bloom again.
Roadrunners, you will need to make your own reservations at the Resort. Rember to tell them you want 50 amps and that you have your Passport America membership. 50 amps will put you in the same area as the other Road'Funners' and the Passport America will get you a price of $45 a night. There will be games and lots of good times together so don't miss this annual campout that is starting to become a tradition for the club.
