Indio Tamale Festival
December 7-9, 2024
Very short notice on this, but, if you are like me and you love Tamales you can not miss the Indio International Tamale Festival. Let's just say there will be too many tamales to choose from. Different favors, styles and aromas. The streets of old town Indio will be filled with vendors hawking their Tamales and cultural events will be all over Indio. If you have never been there you do not want to miss this gem of an event in Indio.

Ellen and I will be staying at the Indian Waters RV Resort arriving Friday December 7th and leave Monday Dec 10th. $300 for a site with full hookups - 50 Amp. Cottages are also available onsite.
This will be an informal outing, you will need to make your own reservations. Saturday and Sunday evening Heavy Hors d'oeuvre will be suggested for the Happy Hour starting at 5 pm - maybe bring your favorite Tamales from that day's search. Friday evening Happy Hour at 5 pm with suprise dinner and games.
